The whole thing was 5 rounds. After the online assessment, there were 4 more rounds that weren't elimination. Round 1 had 2 medium DSA questions. Round 2 also had 2 medium DSA questions. Round 3 was about low-level design. Round 4 was high-level design where I had to talk about edge cases, making the system fault-tolerant, and the whole data flow. The last round was with the hiring manager where we talked about my previous project's architecture, and specifically Kafka and database stuff.

Recruiter call then HM. Recruiter represented the company as organized. company at least they are organized in terms of interview process. Recruiter round HM get to know more about the company your role etc etc. Fun starts now. First of all interview was set up for 15 mins in my calendar even I was wondering only 15 mins. I thought may be HM is brilliant enough to understand & get to know candidate that quick. Secondly, HM got into call no question asked nothing. Ready for coding session. I told our meeting is only 15 mins. He was like it supposed to me 30-45 mins. I told ok I can extend it more 15 mins & I am ready for coding. I was expecting okay now I will receive some link hackerRank, coderpad or at least google doc. Manager said that license got expired etc etc Could you pull up your text pad or something. I told ok! So I did share my screen opened my editor. Explained the approach by then 30 mins over.

I applied via referral and got a call from HR. We scheduled a screening with HR, which was a normal conversation. Then, I was scheduled for two more rounds, bypassing the HackerRank test because the position was urgent. I received an email to pick the timing for both a coding interview and a system design interview, with the option to do them on the same or different days. The process was smooth, and Swathi was very helpful throughout.
