Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Prodapt Solutions.
Software Developer
It was a campus placement with a requirement of 60% marks in 10th, 12th, and all semesters. First, there was an online test that included aptitude, verbal reasoning, computer science MCQs, and a coding section with 3 questions. The difficulty level of the questions was average. What was surprising was that out of 1179 eligible students, only 60 were selected. I'm not sure how they shortlisted candidates, but my friend who solved all 3 coding questions and performed well on the MCQs was not selected. However, a friend from another college who attended the same placement a week earlier mentioned that they randomly select students from the list after the test. I find this hard to believe, but it's not a major issue. My performance was average, not outstanding.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Software Development Engineer Intern
The hiring process for this internship involved four stages on the same day: an online assessment, a group discussion, a technical interview, and an HR interview. The overall difficulty was moderate. While AI/ML was a primary focus, they adapted questions to my existing skillset due to my lack of prior AI/ML experience.
- Can you discuss your past projects?
- Tell me about your understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles.
Technical Lead
The interview was three round. 1. Technical 2. Techno managerial. 3. HR round. Pros: Straight forward questions and up to the mark. Cons: Offer way below industry wage, one of the reasons they loose good candidates. Hard to negotiate too. Offer may be on hold for a week and they won't bother to inform you. Poor employee incentives as surveyed with previous employees. All together Prodapt should be kept as optional during job search.
- Mostly on post you applied for, a bit of side technologies like GIT and pipelines.
- Managerial round will be mostly about server management, pipelines and team management.
