First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Procore Technologies.
Customer Success Manager
It was an intense 3-round interview process, and then there was a presentation with 2-3 stakeholders where I had to show my experience and knowledge of the product and industry. Getting an interview is pretty hard unless you have internal referrals or friends. The office culture is great though.
- Can you share any construction experience or construction technology knowledge you possess?
Customer Success Manager
So first, they'll give you a quick intro to the company and what the job is about. Then, the interviewer wants to hear about your background, what you know about Procore, and why you're keen on being in Customer Success.
- What's your experience?
- What are your expectations?
- What did you study?
Customer Success Manager
The interview process was well planned out but very impersonal. It seemed like this wasn't a bona fide job offer and they were looking for free consulting. They stated multiple times throughout the interview that their CSM team has experience within their industry (Construction) but not many had experience as a CSM as Procore Technologies recently adopted the SaaS model and were creating their own CRM tool. Throughout the interview process, I had some sleepy CSMs yawning throughout the video interviews. The Director wasn't warm and receiving but you could tell they intimidated their CSM team because they sure weren't yawning when they were on the call!
- Have you negotiated with difficult clients before?
- What's your approach when customers resist using the technology?
