Behavioral Presentation

I was approached via LinkedIn about this opportunity and was interested because I wanted to switch careers and I figured recruiting in life sciences would be an easy transition. The whole process took about a month. It started with a phone screen, then two Zoom interviews, and finally a presentation for the last interview. I felt like making the presentation was a total waste of time and I didn't get why they asked for it. They said I'd hear back the following week, but they never contacted me, which was really frustrating after spending a month interviewing. A simple email saying I didn't get the job would have been appreciated.

Behavioral Technical Case

The process was super fast. I knew I wanted to work in a science-focused field and reached out via email. A few days later, I had a phone call to ask questions about the company. After that call, I got enough good info about the company and its culture, so I applied. They invited me to their office the next week. Everyone I interacted with, from the first phone chat to the interviewers, was really respectful, interested, and seemed to genuinely care about me as a person and applicant. The interview itself was challenging. I met with two team leaders who talked with me about how I'd fit in. It was mostly competency-based questions, but we also had a lot of open discussion about the company and my interests. My tip: be really prepared. Even though it never felt stressful or scary, I think it would have been tough if I hadn't prepared well. But I think the staff enjoyed my knowledge and my real interest/passion for their work, making the interview tough but really good for everyone involved. Unfortunately, I had another opportunity come up, so I didn't continue with PC. I interviewed with 5 other recruiting companies before them, and PC was by far the most positive, challenging, and fun.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Super disappointing. Took 5.5 weeks and was a total waste of time. I interviewed with 3 different teams and had 5 rounds plus a final presentation. They said it was to put me in the best spot for success, and they were really interested in my background. But, I didn't get selected. Honestly, it felt like a waste of time.
