Analyst
The interview process had 4 rounds in total. The first round was resume shortlisting, followed by a case study in the second round. The third round was a technical interview, and the final round was an HR/fit interview. All rounds were easy and the process was smooth. 8 people were selected for different roles such as DS, Product Analyst, Data Analyst, and Technical Analyst.
- Questions from the case study that were not covered.
Analyst
Got a text from a recruiter on LinkedIn asking about my availability for a case study. I got the case study with a 48-hour deadline, finished it and sent it back. After that, they asked about my availability for another interview. I followed up 4 times over two weeks, but heard nothing. Then, out of the blue, they invited me to a presentation. The hiring manager seemed casual, was in his car during the call, and didn't seem to pay much attention to my slides. I had to follow up twice to get the final decision. The whole thing felt unprofessional and was a waste of my time.
- Could you solve a business case study about market sizing and segmentation?

So, for the technical part, you'll start by introducing yourself and talking about your background and skills. Then, they'll ask you about your technical knowledge and how you solve problems, especially with coding and design. You might get some coding problems to solve, so be ready to explain how you approach them and walk through your code. They'll also want to see your coding skills, so practice on a whiteboard or a platform, and definitely explain your thinking. System design is a big one too – be prepared to talk about designing scalable systems. Brush up on algorithms and data structures, especially their efficiency. They'll also ask about your experience with testing and debugging, so have examples ready. Talk about your past projects, the challenges, and what you learned. Show that you're always learning by mentioning any recent courses or self-study. Finally, have some good questions ready for them about the company and the role. For the HR interview, you'll give a more in-depth intro about your career, focusing on achievements. Expect behavioral questions, so use the STAR method to answer about past situations. They'll want to know if you're a good cultural fit, so talk about your work style and how you collaborate. Be clear about why you want to work there and how you fit their goals. They'll also ask how you handle conflicts and disagreements. Be ready to discuss your strengths with examples and your weaknesses with self-awareness. You'll also talk about salary and benefits, so do your research. Share your long-term career goals and how this role fits in. Confirm your start date and any relocation needs. And don't forget to ask questions at the end!
- Introduce yourself, highlighting your education, experience, and any relevant skills.
- Discuss your technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and approach to coding/design challenges.
- Demonstrate your problem-solving process for coding problems or algorithmic challenges and explain your code thoroughly.
