I applied through the university career center and was contacted later, almost forgot I applied! All interviews were via phone. Initially, I spoke with a recruiter, expecting to interview for a marketing internship. However, the conversation shifted towards HR internships, and she was helpful enough to pass my information to the HR department. I wasn't sure if this meant starting over, but HR reached out to schedule an interview. My interviewer was great, asking specific questions about my past work experience and targeting roles I'd held. I found her very skilled and learned a lot, and even told her I was happy just to have interviewed with her, regardless of the outcome. She mentioned a final interview with a manager, but the next contact was the internship offer!

The Headquarters Summer Internship Experience took about 1-2 weeks to complete. The Holland and Princess Teams were really on top of things during the recruiting process. The interviewers from the Princess team were super nice and made it easy to talk. First, there's a survey that's like 10 minutes long where they ask you stuff you already put on your application. Then, there's a second interview that's over 30 minutes where you'll chat with people from the department about your resume and other things you've done. It's a good idea to know about the company, the industry, and who you'll be talking to before you interview. I had a really great time interviewing with Princess Cruises for this internship.

I had two phone interviews and one in-person interview. The first interview was with the recruiter and it was fairly easy, just an interview to gauge my interest in the company and to get a feel for my background and what I could contribute. Then a few days later, I got an e-mail saying that I would be interviewed on-site by the manager for my potential team. I went to Santa Clarita, met with the manager and had an in-person interview that was mostly behavioral questions and some light casing. I turned out not to be a good fit for that position, but got an e-mail a week later saying that they have another team that would be a better fit. I did a phone interview with the manager for that team, answering mostly behavioral questions, then was granted a spot at Princess.
