First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Primrose Schools.
Teacher
I had an in-person interview at the center. First, I spoke with an administrator, and then I met with the owner. They gave me a form to complete, which asked for details about my work history, education, and what salary I was expecting.
- Could you tell me a bit about yourself?
- What are your salary expectations?
- Can you discuss your past experiences?
Graphic Designer
I went through 5 interviews and then got ghosted. I met some nice people. Some interviewers seemed unprepared. The recruiter made a good first impression. Overall, it was really disappointing to be treated so rudely after I put in so much time and effort. Didn't feel like they respected my time or valued me. Guess that's just how the job market is right now.
- Given your background is in other design fields, what draws you to Primrose Schools?
Toddler Teacher
The interview process was pretty straightforward and not too stressful. The person interviewing me was really nice and understanding, which made it comfortable. I thought the questions they asked were good; it felt like they were genuinely interested in how I approach managing a classroom environment. They asked a lot about managing the classroom and how I'd handle different scenarios with students, parents, and the school administration.
- How do you go about creating a trusting relationship with parents?
- What are your methods for managing a classroom effectively?
- Describe how you handle specific situations that might occur within the classroom.
Child Care Teacher
The interview process started with a phone screening, followed by an in-person meeting. The in-person part mainly involved a tour of the property and classrooms. At the end, I was told the salary range, which was less than what was advertised on their website. They mentioned they would discuss a higher salary with the owner and get back to me, but I never heard from them again.
