First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Primo Water.
Customer Service Representative
The hiring process was pretty simple. I applied online through Indeed.com and then got invited for an in-person interview. When I got there, there were a bunch of other people interviewing too. They split us up and assigned us to two supervisors who conducted the interviews. The interview was mostly behavioral questions, and they wanted us to use the S.T.A.R. method. After they finished asking questions, they asked if I had any questions for them. Then they left the room for a bit and came back and offered me the job on the spot. The supervisors were really nice and laid-back.
- Can you describe a time you had to handle an angry customer? What was the situation, and what did you do to calm them down?
Customer Service Representative
Got my interview through a friend of a friend. Seems like a common way people get in. I interviewed with another candidate, and we both got offers on the spot. After signing some paperwork and doing a quick swab test, we were given our orientation date. The interview itself was pretty easy, but honestly, the job and the chances to move up in the company are really limited. The work environment, the performance expectations, and the lack of career growth really contribute to a super high turnover rate.
- What makes you the right candidate for this position?
Customer Service Representative
I had a quick phone call first, then I went in to interview with one of the supervisors. There was also a typing test to see if I could hit at least 35 words per minute. They wanted to go over each of my previous jobs, the responsibilities, and how that experience would help me in this role.
- How does your experience from [Previous Company] relate to this role?
- Can you tell me how your previous job responsibilities would be a good fit for this position?
- How will your past experience contribute to this role?
