Business Analyst
The whole interview process was extremely unprofessional. Most interviewers kept their cameras off throughout the process, only turning them on for the final round. They scheduled a very disorganized 3-hour coding session. The VP I spoke with was quite rude, making comments about hiring Indians (I'm of Indian descent) and their internal promotion system, and warned about a lack of work-life balance in his team. The compensation offered didn't seem to match the location or the required experience level.
- What is your wife’s occupation?
- Given the demands of the role, including frequent work past normal hours until 10 pm on weekdays and some weekends, do you have adequate childcare support at home?
Business Analyst
It started with an HR call for basic people skills, then the Hiring Manager talked about behavioral stuff and past experience. After that, there was a technical round with Python, SQL, and critical thinking, followed by a leadership round to assess department and skillset fit.
- Can you tell me about your negotiation experience?
- What experience do you have with creating flow charts?
- How would you describe your data skills?
IT Analyst
The interview process started with a phone screen and then moved to an in-person interview. They require business professional attire for this 30-minute meeting. Honestly, the whole process felt pretty bad. The recruiter was nice, but the interviewer was really rude. They had me come in person just to ask a couple of questions, which could have easily been done over a video call or phone. What's more, most of the questions weren't even related to the IT Analyst role. It felt like they just judge you based on your resume, and the actual questions didn't matter much. They just asked me random trivia. For a minimum wage job, their standards are crazy high. It was a huge waste of time. On top of that, they ghosted me after saying they'd get in touch the following week. Just awful.
- What is your knowledge on random trivia?
