First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Prime Healthcare Services.
Registered Nurse
First I talked to a recruiter, and then we set up an in-person interview with the unit manager. The interview was pretty chill, more of a chat than anything serious. They didn't really ask me a lot of questions, the manager mostly just told me about the company and asked if I had any questions for them.
- What makes you want to work for Prime Health?
Business Analyst
The whole interview process was extremely unprofessional. Most interviewers kept their cameras off throughout the process, only turning them on for the final round. They scheduled a very disorganized 3-hour coding session. The VP I spoke with was quite rude, making comments about hiring Indians (I'm of Indian descent) and their internal promotion system, and warned about a lack of work-life balance in his team. The compensation offered didn't seem to match the location or the required experience level.
- What is your wife’s occupation?
- Given the demands of the role, including frequent work past normal hours until 10 pm on weekdays and some weekends, do you have adequate childcare support at home?
IT Support Specialist
HR reached out about 2 weeks after I applied to schedule a phone/virtual screening. It was mostly basic questions about my background and qualifications. After that, I was selected for a second, in-person interview. This one included more background and experience questions, plus technical ones to test my basic technical knowledge. They also threw in some scenario questions to see how I'd troubleshoot and talk to users. It was about 20 minutes, with managers and technicians there. I got the offer a week later, and the onboarding/background check took another 2 weeks.
- Can you tell me about your background and why you applied for this position?
- Could you describe your experience and role in your previous job/experience?
- What are your career aspirations and goals?
Registered Nurse
I went to a walk-in hiring event. It was a panel interview with two directors and other candidates there. It was pretty chill, not stressful at all. Just remember to bring extra copies of your resume. They said offers would go out later that week. I called the recruiter the next week to check in and they said there were some delays. I didn't hear anything else the rest of the week, so I'm guessing I didn't get the job.
- Can you introduce yourself, talk about your experience, and explain your interest in West Anaheim?
- Describe a situation where you had to interact with a difficult individual, like a patient or a family member.
- Share an instance where you encountered a change in a patient's condition and explain the actions you took.
