I applied to Prezi in February 2022 for the Senior UX Researcher role and received an offer about 4 weeks later. The interview process had 6 main steps: a quick intro call with recruitment, a first interview with recruitment and the hiring manager, a take-home UX research assignment that simulated a real study including a mock usability test with a senior team member. This assignment was time-consuming but provided insight into the work and allowed the team to assess my skills. The hiring manager and a senior colleague were very supportive. Then, I presented my assignment results to the hiring manager, had a chat with the US-based Department Senior Manager to ask questions, and finished with a video call with the entire Design Team (over 10 people) to get acquainted.

I had a quick recruiter call over the phone, which was basically a phone screen. We set up the on-site pretty fast after that. During the on-site, I presented my design portfolio and showcased my skills. Two designers interviewed me. We talked about my background and portfolio for about 10-15 minutes. Then, I had about 5 minutes for my questions before we jumped into a 20-minute design session.

It was a two-round interview process. The first round was with the team leader. The second round was a trial day where I had to complete a few tasks that took a couple of hours. After that, there was an informal meeting with the team members.
