It's basically a 4 step process. You have the initial call with the hiring manager. Then you do an interview through a program called HireVue, where questions flash onto the screen and you answer them speaking directly into your webcam. There's nobody on the other end - just the program and a 3-minute timer per question - so you must be clear and succinct. After that, you have an interview with a group that would eventually be your peers. If that group gives the green light, you move on to a final in-person interview where you deliver a presentation with a set of recommendations based off of data from a dummy Press Ganey account to a group of senior PG managers/directors who are acting as the board of a hospital.

The process was great! They were very thorough and engaged. I had 2 virtual preliminary interviews, and then I flew out to give an in-person presentation to the leaders. It really prepared me for what they expect.

I applied for an Advisor position on 10/11. On 10/21, the recruiter emailed me asking for a 15-30 minute phone screen. I booked a slot for 10/27 at 12:30 and prepped for it. They never called me at 12:30. At 12:45, I emailed the recruiter. I waited 30 minutes for a call. The recruiter emailed back at 4:00 PM saying "I apologize for missing you today. I'm available now to speak with you." We rescheduled for me to call her at 5:15 PM. When I called, she acted like she didn't recognize me at first. Then, she told me the position was filled. I asked about another advisor position, and she said it was also in final offer stages. She suggested a Virtual Advisor role and sent me a link. The call was less than 2 minutes. This experience made me feel disrespected and gave me a bad first impression of Press Ganey. I work in HR/recruiting and would never ghost a candidate. They found their ideal candidate before interviewing me, but they should have at least shown up for the interview they requested. It wouldn't have taken much effort to talk to me for 15 minutes. Because of this negative experience, I will not be applying for any future positions with Press Ganey. I think Press Ganey talent acquisition needs to use their own performance improvement solutions. This was a waste of my time.
