I applied online and after the HR reached out it took them a while to set up a call with the hiring manager. Then it took weeks to get an update. The face to face interview was 3 months later. The hiring manager seemed uninterested when I got there. We had technical difficulties and I didn't get to meet everyone. They told me another candidate was offered the job, but then a month later the same job was posted again. It seemed very unprofessional. I felt I was perfect for this job, but maybe I came off too confident.

I had a phone interview with the regional PMO director in December. Then, the second interview with the overall PMO director was supposed to be in January but got rescheduled multiple times and they no-showed twice. Due to weather, it eventually happened over the phone and went well, leading to scheduling a face-to-face meeting. Unexpectedly, the Director of Engineering called, briefly reviewed my background, and offered me the job. Last week, when I was scheduled to meet the team onsite, the recruiter called two hours prior to cancel, stating the Director of Engineering didn't think I was a fit. I felt management was unprofessional and led me on, as I rearranged my schedule significantly for this process.
