Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at President Chain Store.
Cashier
It was a typical interview for a convenience store job. The interviewers were nice and professional. The questions they asked were suitable for the role. It wasn't a stressful experience at all, and there were no issues. Nothing to worry about.
- Were you asked the standard interview questions?
Cashier
Applied online which was easy and fast. Then, I had an interview with the owner who was working during his shift. They called me back the next day to offer me the job and I started on the weekend with a trainer to learn how to be a night cashier.
- Are you able to work the night shift alone?
Cashier
The entire process was conducted online and was quite straightforward. I completed some forms and then waited for a response. I didn't end up having an in-person interview because the location I was interested in wasn't offered. It was a standard experience, a bit impersonal, but expected for a place like 7/11.
- Is your transportation reliable?
