Ghosted me with no response after two rounds of technical interview, Didn't even provide feedback or any update even after sending a mail to the recruiter. Recruiter must value the candidate's time and effort they put into the interviews.

My interview process with 7-Eleven in the Portland-Vancouver area was one of the most confusing hiring experiences I’ve had. It started off strong. A****, the recruiter, was encouraging and made it sound like I was moving in the right direction. Then I spoke with J******, a regional leader, who told me directly that I would be a great fit for the Area Leader role. She even coached me on what to expect next and how to prepare. After that, I met with an Area Leader for a "ride along", and that went well, and he gave me his number and said he would put in a good word for me. Everything pointed toward me moving forward. Then, suddenly, on a Saturday night, I received an automated rejection email from Workday with no explanation at all. I thought it had to be a glitch because it didn’t match anything anyone had told me. But it wasn’t a glitch. The whole experience went from positive and supportive to confusing and disappointing. With the amount of encouragement I received, I expected better communication and clarity.

The interviewers were really nice and approachable, they kept smiling during the interview so I didn't feel intimidated. They were interested in me and my studies. Unfortunately, I didn't get the job because I think they have a policy against hiring students who are still studying. They did say I could work with them after I finish my studies, though.
