First, there was an aptitude test and then a research aptitude test, which was an elimination round. After that, it was a group discussion (GD). Candidates who were shortlisted then proceeded to the interview rounds. There were 4 interview rounds in total. The last round was the HR round.

I'm a manager with 5 years of experience, so I've seen a lot of interview processes. Preqin's was really different, super straightforward. They told me exactly what to expect at each step, first verbally, then they emailed me to confirm, and they even sent a text/email before the interview date. This was great because it showed me there's a clear follow-up process and plenty of time for questions for both me and the hiring manager. They also clearly explained the next steps, no confusion. I really appreciate the solid interview rounds.

The VP of Talent Acquisition found my resume and reached out. He wanted to schedule a screening interview, but was hard to pin down on a date and time. We eventually locked in a specific date and time after a few tries. When the call was supposed to start, the interviewer was 8 minutes late, so I emailed to confirm if it was still happening. It's been 17 days since that screening interview and I've followed up by email, but still no word on if I'm moving forward.
