Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Preply.
Senior Talent Acquisition Partner
The process was 4 interviews long. Throughout the hiring process, I got regular updates and tips on how to prep. All interviewers were super nice and professional. They asked good questions and gave me a great feel for what working at Preply is like. I'm really happy with how it all went.
- Can you give a general presentation of your background and work experience?
- What is your motivation for this role?
- Tell me about your candidate experience.
Recruiter
I applied for the role and was contacted to set up an interview. I scheduled it for the next week to give myself time to prepare. However, the day before the interview, I received an email saying it was cancelled. Apparently, someone who started the process the week before was being moved forward. It felt like they didn't value my time, and I hope others don't experience this, but be warned, you might prepare for days only to have it cancelled.

Talent Acquisition
The whole interview thing moved super fast, and they were really clear about everything from the get-go. For me, it went like this: first, I chatted with the hiring manager, then I talked to another manager from the team, after that, a senior person on the team interviewed me, and finally, I had a chat with the big boss of the department.
- Can you share details about your past work experience?
- How do you typically approach your work and responsibilities?
- What drives your interest in joining our organization?
