I applied online and after a few weeks, an HR person called me. We chatted for about 10 minutes and scheduled a phone interview for a few days later with a plant manager. The phone interview was pretty chill. They talked about how the plant runs and asked just a couple of technical questions.

I went for an in-person interview for a supposed 4-month co-op position. But during the chat, the HR person let me know they were actually searching for someone for a 1-year co-op. I was also told I'd get an update by Friday, but that never happened. If you're thinking about interviewing for a co-op gig here, be ready for some mixed messages and maybe no follow-up. It might be a good chance if you get it, but if you don't, it can feel like a waste of your time and money, especially for travel.
