I had a quick phone chat with Precision Castparts and they said they'd be in touch in about a week about what's next. I followed up but never heard back, so it just kinda ended there.

It was mostly a positive experience. I had a good interview with the engineering manager and the HR manager. They asked me questions that were relevant to figuring out how I could be an asset to the company. However, my experience with an operations manager was negative. He wasn't skilled at interviewing. His questions jumped around and weren't related to each other, and he'd even interrupt me before I could finish answering. Based on my other interview experiences, I think he might just be new to interviewing.

I applied online after talking to reps at a job fair. Then I got a call from HR, and then another call from an engineering manager. After that, I was invited for an in-person interview because I was a finalist. The in-person part was about 4 hours long and included meeting engineers and managers. It also had a group interview and some 1:1s, plus a facility tour. They seemed nice and professional, and it was a good experience, but I didn't get an offer. They want to see that you're really self-motivated.
