First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Praytell Strategy.
Account Director
I've applied to Praytell several times with different resumes and spoken with HR repeatedly. The VPs apparently didn't select my resume according to HR. I have nearly 20 years of experience in PR and references and case studies. HR advised me to keep applying for open roles.
- What motivates your interest in joining Praytell?
Creative Strategist
The interview process was quite straightforward and relaxed. It felt like they were already assuming I was the one for the role. The people I met were great. I spoke with a couple of individuals whose roles didn't closely align with the position, and also with two people who were directly involved in the hiring for this specific job.
- Can you share a PR activation that you find envy-worthy?
Senior Account Executive
I found this job on LinkedIn and applied. The next day, a recruiter from Praytell emailed me and provided a link to schedule a call. We had some technical issues with Google Meet during our first scheduled call, so we had to reschedule. For the rescheduled call, I waited on the Google Meet for 10 minutes and then emailed them to confirm if the time still worked. The recruiter responded saying we had missed each other and that they were moving on with other candidates. I was pretty disappointed with the lack of consideration for candidates and how quickly they dismissed me. I don't think I'll apply to Praytell again if this is how they treat people.

Director, Media Relations
I spoke with two managers on the team, one of whom was quite late to our call and hadn't reviewed my resume. It also seemed like they were texting each other during the interview, and one was laughing about a text from the other, which felt unprofessional. I have 10 years of experience and did a lot of research on the company and the interviewers, so the experience was unpleasant. It's already tough interviewing.
- Can you share an instance of a challenge you faced while leading a team or a team member?
