After that, they asked some technical questions about things like bearings. Finally, they asked me a couple of behavioral questions about teamwork and how I'd handle projects that are all a priority.

So I had two phone calls with HR people before this. The actual interview was at their R&D place in Longueil with two lead engineers, one from design and one from the analytical side of accessories and components. They were super nice and really seemed interested in finding a spot that fits my interests and career goals. We started by going over my resume for about 30 minutes. Then came the technical part where I had to look at a drawing of a turbofan engine and figure some things out. They asked me to point out where the rotors and stators connected and how, like with bearings and stuff. They were cool about it even when I didn't know everything, focusing more on how I approached the problems. I'm not sure how I did, but I left with a really good vibe about the company.
