Product Manager
The interview process was very short and conducted in a curt, clipped manner as if I was inconveniencing the interviewer. I'm not sure if he was even paying attention to my answers. When I asked the interviewer towards the end about the ideal skill set and if my 10 years of education technology experience would be helpful for this position, he simply replied, "No". It seems he was not interested in elaborating further than that. Easily the worst interviewer I have ever encountered. Other than this person, everybody else I communicated with (via email and phone) was super pleasant and professional. I would not discount the company because of my experience, but hopefully should you interview here, you will not have the misfortune of being interviewed by this person.
- What product management methodology do you employ?
- Could you describe the ideal skill set for this role?
- How would my 10 years of experience in education technology be beneficial for this position?
Product Manager
Went through the process with two interviews and an assignment, really enjoyed the dialogue and thought it would be a great fit. Excited to hear from recruiter on an update, it looked promising, but recruiter went on vacation, then returned and told me she had good new and bad news. Good news, they really liked me and wanted to offer me a position, however they are on a hiring freeze til winter. I was crushed. Recommended me to apply to other companies and will keep me updated. It was a let down for sure. Super bummed out about it.

Product Manager
Had an initial call with the HR recruiter. Then went through 3-4 Zoom interviews with staff members where I got asked a lot of questions specific to the role. The recruiter was pretty pushy, stating that the salary and start date were firm and non-negotiable, but the staff members were nice.
- Can you describe your familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)?
