Behavioral Technical Presentation

I was first reached out by a recruiter via messages who was vague about the company. I asked for details but he didn't provide them, instead calling my personal number. He continued to be vague on the phone and downplayed my experience to offer a low salary. He promised to follow up but didn't, so I reached out. He then sent me to another recruiter. The second recruiter was better and set up two meetings: one with a higher-level employee and another with a panel. The conversations went well, especially after the higher-level employee recommended I move forward. The panel said I'd hear back the next day, but after a few days of no word, I followed up. I was told the experience was positive but they went with another candidate. I asked for a call to understand their needs better due to contacts inquiring about the company, but I kept getting vague replies. I heard during the process that the company is trying to improve its processes and growth after losing staff. It seems like Glassdoor reviews reflect PowerPlan's challenges, but they haven't improved their processes. My feedback is that if the first interaction with recruiters is disrespectful, it's hard to believe the company is doing well internally.

Behavioral Technical Group

After meeting PowerPlan at a career fair, I got an email from HR to set up a phone screen a week later. It was a basic chat with an employee, asking typical phone screen questions. A week after that, I was invited for an on-site interview. At their office, I met two other candidates. We had lunch provided by PowerPlan and chatted with employees. Then, the CFO gave a brief presentation about the company's success and future prospects, followed by a Q&A session. Next, there was a 45-minute panel interview with HR and a project manager, mainly focusing on behavioral questions. This was followed by a 45-minute one-on-one with someone I think was the hiring manager, which also covered behavioral topics and included discussions about my favorite projects. I received an offer in under a week and was initially given about three weeks to decide, which they extended by a week upon my request.

First round was with HR, they looked at my resume and asked me why I'm looking for this job. Then, I had interviews with managers. The first hour was behavioral questions and the second hour was SQL questions. The last interview was with a Senior Manager to discuss my background and why power plan.
