I got selected through GATE (EE) and the interview process included a Group Discussion (GD) round followed by a personal interview. The GD topic was about whether excessive social networking is good for society. The personal interview covered both technical and HR aspects, including many questions about my background. Since my father works in a hydro sector PSU, they asked quite a few questions about that, and also about my education.

Interview and DV scheduled at Power Grid corporate office Gurgaon, first DV completed then we were sent for breakfast. Then after we were divided into 2 groups for Group Discussion and I was in the first group, so my DV happened first, then the Interview.
