The interview process includes document verification, group discussions, and a personal interview. The group discussion is straightforward but requires meeting a cutoff score. It's important to perform well in the personal interview, especially if your rank is low. Lastly, stay calm and patient during the interview, and don't get pressured by tough questions. Good luck to everyone!

After meeting the GATE 2015 cutoff (around rank 170), you'll get a call about a month after GATE results are out to come to their corporate office in Gurgaon for a GD and interview. The whole GD + interview process takes about 4-5 hours and you're usually done by lunchtime. The interview is shorter too, about 20-25 mins max, unlike other PSUs where it's 45 mins. This is probably the most organized PSU recruitment process ever. They stick to the procedure with no issues or confusion before or after the interview. The GD has one supervisor and the interview panel has 5 people. GD topics are totally random, usually general issues. They ask you to write a summary after the GD in 3 mins, which can be tricky.

The process began with document verification. Then, the first nine people were called for a group discussion (GD). The HR person explained the process clearly, and we could speak in Hindi, English, or both. One person from the group picked a topic from ten chits for discussion. After the discussion, everyone had to write a summary on paper. Following the GD, there was an interview. The interviewers reviewed the resume submitted during document verification. For me, the interview was mostly HR-related. They asked about my favorite subject, and regardless of my choice, they asked questions on power systems.
