& Process

The interview process was pretty straightforward. It started with an initial screening call, then a 1-on-1 with someone from the design team. After that, there was a take-home design challenge, followed by a total of 6 interview rounds. Overall, the team seemed really nice and the company solid, and I was looking forward to it. The interviews themselves felt like comfortable conversations. They mentioned they'd compensate for the design challenge, which was appreciated, but I never heard back about it. After the last round, the talent coordinator said they'd reply by the end of the week, but it took about two weeks to get a response. Not a huge deal, but just wondering why they'd say that.

It was a two round interview with a take home assignment. Questions are pretty straightforward and the interviewers are nice and friendly. I spent several hours on the take home assignment, and was told it would be a paid assignment. I got rejected in the end without any mention of the project payment. Always make sure you get paid for doing any assignment, especially if you put some hard work in it.

The hiring process was really efficient, streamlined and clear. The hiring manager reached out and coordinated a phone screen with the Head of Product design. The conversation was awesome and did not feel like an interrogation. She was genuinely interested in my experience and it didn’t feel like she was just reading from a script. I was invited to do the design challenge which was a good opportunity to show my design process. It was also not too lengthy and the brief was very detailed. Overall a very good experience! I ended up accepting another offer before moving to the in person interview, but thank you Postlight fir a cery rare positive experience!
