I got invited to a group interview about two weeks after applying. I had a few days to confirm. On the interview day, I got there 15 minutes early and checked in. They asked about my availability for next week in case I got a callback. There were four other people there, so five of us total. We all hung out in the student lounge before the interview. It felt like they picked a good group of people. We were interviewed by the executive director, another career program manager, and the assistant to the director. It was pretty much like what others have said. They showed us a video about Posse and explained the rest of the process. The main part was us sitting in a circle and answering questions, with a 1-minute time limit for each. One person led this, and the other two watched from outside. After that, they told us more about the Career Program Manager role and we could ask them questions. The whole thing lasted about 2 hours. It was a nice experience.

The interview process was awkward and over Zoom. They tried to replicate an in-person interview, but it didn't work well. There were 25 of us in a group interview. We were put into breakout rooms of 3 or 4 people, and staff listened to our answers. Each person had 2 minutes to answer, and if we didn't use the full time, it became awkward for everyone. The interview felt impersonal, and it seemed like we were competing against each other. There was another group interview scheduled for the next day with different people. I wasn't invited back, but the Posse Foundation seemed unprofessional. It turned out they hired two internal candidates for the position, making it feel like we outsiders had no real chance.

The interview process was definitely interesting. It mirrors the same process that posse candidates go through. It was a group interview with at least 25 candidates, that can be somewhat intimidating. Interview began with a video that provided more information on the Posse foundation and its mission. Then they broke the candidates up into groups, for a lightening round style of interview questions. I would have liked if candidates had an opportunity to discuss what they bring individually. Overall great organization hard interview.
