Found the job on LinkedIn, applied online, and was contacted by the recruiter within days. She was incredibly friendly and helpful, and sold the job well. Made it to the on site interview, the recruiter left very helpful hints on preparing for behavioral questions. The on site interview was comfortable and conversational, though almost all questions were behavioral. None were terribly difficult. Ultimately did not get the job, but props to them. They were well organized and it felt like a great place to work.

Senior Recruiter
The PGE Talent Acquisition/HR team provided a great interview experience. My recruiter was excellent at communicating expectations for the role and interview process, giving timely updates, and sticking to the communicated timelines. Each part of the process highlighted a different area of my background and allowed time for me to ask good questions. The interview team also shared valuable information about how the Senior Recruiter role helps PGE and the Talent Acquisition team succeed. The interview process included: Initial Assessment: a 60-minute recruiter screen. Round 1: a 60-minute hiring manager interview. Round 2: a 60-minute division manager interview. Round 3: a 30-minute interview with the CHRO and a meet and greet with the recruiting team.

My interview journey started with an initial HR screen, followed by a 3-day take-home assessment. The final loop, however, was quite unusual. Instead of allowing me to present my take-home work, the panel read questions from a list. I felt it could have been more personal. I didn't get to showcase everything I prepared because the interviewers stuck to their script. It also seemed like they hadn't reviewed my submission. A suggestion for the future would be to let candidates present their work and ask follow-up questions about their choices. Remember, interviews are a two-way street!
- Can you describe how you would replicate data from an on-premises SQL database to the cloud?
Project Manager
I had a recruiter interview where they were supposed to call me at a specific time, but they didn't. I emailed them about 10 minutes after the scheduled time to confirm, and they called me right away. The conversation was a bit disorganized. They started by asking if I had questions, even though they hadn't given me much info about the role. Several weeks later, I got an email for a second panel interview and was told I'd get a scheduling email soon. It's been nearly a month, and I haven't received any scheduling email, even after sending two follow-ups to check on the status and reiterate my interest. My application still shows as 'in process' online.
