Behavioral Technical Presentation

I applied for the PN internship after meeting two company reps at a career fair. About two weeks later, I was contacted to schedule an in-person interview with two new reps. It turned out one of the people I met at the career fair was also in the interview. The interview was pretty standard, involving a walk-through of my resume and experience. Even though it was a 2:1 panel, both reps were really nice and put me at ease despite my nervousness. Afterwards, I was taken to an office to complete a 2.5-hour writing test. The test included a pitch letter, a press release, and three lead paragraphs with headlines. The test was straightforward and based purely on skill. Roughly two weeks after the interview and writing test, I got a call with the offer. It was a really typical hiring process from beginning to end.

Behavioral Other

I applied on their website and got a call from HR pretty fast, maybe a day or two after, to schedule an in-person interview. Then I had an interview with four people from the company, which felt like a lot for an internship, but they were all really nice. Right after that, there was an hour-long writing test. They told me I'd hear back within a week, and they did.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Nothing too difficult.
  • The interview was very conversational, actually.

Behavioral Other

Had a 30-minute chat that felt informal but was pretty messy. Then, a big writing assignment, followed by radio silence from HR for a whole month until I nudged them. The whole thing felt really unclear.
