Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Porter Novelli.
Account Executive
Had an interview panel with people from different levels of the business, and also had to do a presentation responding to an old brief. There were multiple rounds of questions focused on soft skills.
- Can you share some PR campaigns that inspire you?
Account Executive
It was a standard interview process. I didn't move forward in the end. The salary seemed competitive and the people were nice for the most part. I'd consider them again in the future as it sounds like they have different opportunities available. It's a shame they aren't considering full-time remote employees anymore.
- What sparked your interest in this particular position?
Account Executive
I put in my application online and then three days later got an email asking me to come in for an interview. The first part of the interviews was with two VPs in the division. They asked stuff about my experience, what my goals are, and how I work. The next round was with people on the team I'd be on, plus some senior managers. This round talked about my experience a little but mostly focused on the company's culture, which I could tell was super important. Everyone was really nice, and they were great at communicating through the whole thing. It was definitely one of the better interview experiences I've had.
- Can you share details about your previous experience?
- What are your career aspirations and objectives?
- How would you describe your approach to work?
