First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Porsche.
Marketing Intern
The interview questions were pretty technical, focusing on specific situations and campaigns. They were manageable if you've studied the company and its activities. In total, there were 2 rounds: the first was online, and the second was in person.
- In what ways would you connect with their target audience, and what's your reasoning behind those methods?
Marketing Intern
I applied with a single cover letter for three positions. Then I received a rejection, but it wasn't clear if the rejection was for one (which?) position or all positions. So, confusion at first. However, a few days later, I received a call regarding the planning of an interview for one of the three positions. The interview (online), which took place about a week after the phone call, was extremely likeable, fair, and above all, on an equal footing! A few days later, the (telephone) offer for the internship followed. And after the Christmas break, the contract arrived - digitally and by post. Quick and uncomplicated!
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- Do you know all Porsche models?
- What (future) challenges is Porsche facing?
Marketing Intern
It was online, the questions were very focused on marketing, although of course I didn't have any experience yet. When I didn't know some answers, they just waited until I said something, even though the employees noticed that I didn't know and how uncomfortable it made me.
- What models do we have?
- Where does advertising make sense?
- For this model, where would you advertise it?
