Technical Coding

A recruiter at a job fair saw my background and experience and really wanted me to apply. I had two remote video calls, one with a manager and another with some senior engineers for a technical interview. Then, they gave me an assignment to finish in a week, which I did. I was invited on-site for more interviews, and they all went great. We talked about the assignment solution, and everything was fine. Even though the whole process had a lot of stages and interviews, I got a generic email saying I wasn't successful. What a waste of time!

Behavioral Technical Coding

I had a phone call with the hiring manager first. He asked me about my past experience, what I did, and the technologies I used. He seemed really interested in APIs. The call was about 25 minutes. After the phone interview, I went to the office for a face-to-face interview. It went for over an hour, and they asked me more technical stuff to make sure I knew what I was talking about. I was supposed to have another interview with HR, but since my first interview was in early December, I had already accepted another job offer by then.
