Behavioral Case

It started with a screening call and then had some chats with senior leadership. The whole thing felt more like a US hiring process than a UK one. The leadership chats were pretty chill and informal, like a startup, not a big tech company. It was advertised as hybrid, but it's basically remote with some field sales. The founders and their vision were cool. The interview process itself was a bit all over the place sometimes, might not be for everyone. As they grow internationally, they might need to tweak the process for different regions.

Behavioral Presentation Other

I had a positive experience with friendly and welcoming people. The process started with a phone screen, then a 1 on 1 with your Regional Sales Manager. This was followed by setting 30/60/90 day goals and explaining how you'd achieve them, and then a mock demo of their product. An offer will come soon after. Be sure to know what their product does and don't mention wanting to grow your career into manager or director roles. Instead, speak highly about your hustle and results.

I applied through LinkedIn and a recruiter reached out about a week later. Setting up the recruiter screen was straightforward. The recruiter was considerate of my time and brought up compensation early on. While it didn't work out for me due to external reasons, I really appreciated his honesty. He made sure to allow time for my questions at the end and clearly laid out what would happen next. Overall, it was a good experience.
