The interview was interactive and felt smooth, leaving me optimistic about joining. The vibe was chill but professional, which relaxed me. It started with questions about my background and experience. I felt a good connection with the interviewer, who seemed interested and asked good follow-up questions. I asked my own questions too, showing my interest. The interviewer answered them well, explaining what it's like to be on the team. I stayed calm and used examples to show my skills. My answers seemed well-received, and the energy was positive. The hiring manager thanked me and said they'd be in touch. I thanked them too and felt I made a good impression.

So first they reviewed my resume, then they checked with my old employers and references. After that, it was a background check, fingerprinting, and a drug screen, which is pretty standard for teaching jobs. Then I had this three-day training that was mandatory and unpaid, and only after that was I considered hired.
