Make sure to have a copy of your resume ready and be prepared to discuss your classroom management techniques and teaching approach.

So first they reviewed my resume, then they checked with my old employers and references. After that, it was a background check, fingerprinting, and a drug screen, which is pretty standard for teaching jobs. Then I had this three-day training that was mandatory and unpaid, and only after that was I considered hired.
