The process is very atomic. There's a screening interview before you get passed to the potential manager or team members. Things move very quickly, sometimes it's hard to coordinate all the schedules. Each interview sort of asks the same questions, it's the same song and dance almost. It's confusing why they don’t coordinate the questions.

I had an initial chat with the recruiter, then two separate Zoom interviews with senior project managers. If I had made it past the second Zoom interview, there would have been one more with the hiring manager. I was told that POLITICO wouldn't be moving forward with me after the second Zoom interview. The whole process moved pretty fast. The questions asked were typical PM questions.

Had a couple of phone calls, one with the recruiter and another with the hiring manager. Things went pretty well overall. They were nice and actually took the time to answer my questions. They asked me about my past experience and why I wanted to work for Politico. I didn't get the job in the end, but they mentioned they'd keep me in mind if other roles opened up.
