Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process was smooth and consisted of 3 rounds. The first round was a screening, the second interview was more technical, and the 3rd one was an intro call with the top leaders. The focus should be on understanding agile and scrum questions.

Technical Behavioral

The first interview was over 90 minutes long and very technical, with many questions asked consecutively. Even though I'm already a senior in this role, there was no opportunity for personal connection. The second interview was with a department head, only 30 minutes, and I couldn't ask any questions; it was entirely focused on them describing the intense workload.

Behavioral Group

The interview process included a phone interview and then an in-person interview with a group of four people from different departments. I noticed that even though they are in the same building, departments are very siloed and compete for resources without seeing the bigger company benefit. They also don't have a good system for prioritizing projects or policies for things like business cases. It seems they are looking for a specific type of employee, but this 'group think' might be why their product, innovation, and user experience are not progressing. They also could improve by using DevOps practices to make content updates and releases more efficient, especially for a software company in 2020. They are also bad at keeping candidates informed about their status, basically ghosting people, like a company stuck in the '90s.

  • How do you manage situations where you have multiple competing priorities?
  • Can you describe your professional background and past roles?
