Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pointe Advisory.
Senior Consultant
For the entry-level consultant role, there are 3 rounds: first, a behavioral screener with talent leads; second, mini-cases and behavioral questions with managers/directors; and finally, a super day with 2 cases and 1 behavioral question from directors/principals/partners.
- What would you do if financial constraints were removed?
Consultant
The first stage involved two back-to-back interviews, each incorporating a mini case study alongside behavioral questions. I spoke with current consultants who guided me through these mini case studies.
- Can you share an instance when you were given negative feedback?
Consultant
I went through 2 rounds of interviews. The first round involved two Bain-style case studies. After that, I proceeded to a super day, which consisted of two 40-minute case studies followed by a 40-minute behavioral interview.
- Can you share something interesting about yourself?
