Sales Development Representative
At PointClickCare, the interview process is pretty standard. First, you'll chat with a recruiter to go over your background and see if you're a good fit. Then, you'll likely have a few more chats with the hiring manager or team to dive into your skills for the job, how you solve problems, and what you know about the industry. Depending on the role, you might also get a technical test or a case study. They really want to see if you vibe with their values of innovation, working together, and making a difference in health tech. They usually get back to you pretty quickly, and most people find it a professional and supportive experience.
- Can you walk us through your background and career path, and how it connects to PointClickCare's mission?

Sales Development Representative
Applied on LinkedIn for a general Sales posting in North America. Heard back via email from a recruiter to set up a quick 15 min phone call. The recruiter asked some basic questions about my background and shared some details on the role. Then, scheduled a video interview with the sales managers a few days later. The interview with the managers was really conversational. I had prepared for tough questions but didn't feel the need to use them. They asked basic questions about the role, like 'Why Sales', and I felt good throughout. After that, I had a second interview the same day with the VP. It was also very casual, just to check if I was a good company fit. The best part was the transparency throughout the process. The recruiter and manager talked about salary expectations, which was appreciated. I got offered a position the same day after the two interviews. The whole hiring process was easy and friendly. Training was all online, remote, and onboarding was thorough to ensure I learned the company's products and value props. Overall, it was a great interview experience, and I'd suggest being yourself and preparing for a real conversation where you can share your experiences.
- What motivates you to pursue a career in sales?
- Can you describe a time you used data to inform a decision?
- What makes you interested in working for PCC?
Sales Development Representative
I had an initial brief phone screen with a recruiter who didn't give much info about the job or company. Then, I had a Zoom meeting with two SDR managers. They didn't do much small talk and asked about my background, what I knew about the company, my 5 and 15 year goals, and what I'd tell my younger self. They also asked what I'd bought recently that brings me joy. One manager was kind of cold and negative about the role. The job posting said remote, but they mentioned a hybrid model with 30% in-office soon, which is a problem because I live 2 hours away. Their careers page says the interview is casual, but this felt very transactional.
