Entertainment Assistant
This was one of the most unprofessional interviews I have ever had. I went in early and waited about 30 minutes, then went through about 3 rounds of interviews, though I wasn't told about that. There was also a written test that lasted an hour. They seemed to really like me, but when they asked if I had anywhere to be, I told them I had a ride back to school in an hour (I was still in school with finals). They let me go and said we could schedule a final Skype interview. I emailed everyone I met several times and heard nothing back. It wasn't until I contacted HR in Los Angeles that I got a response: they decided to go with someone else. Ridiculous..

Entertainment
The interview wasn't super formal, more like a chat. I applied online via my college's career site and got a phone interview about a week later. A couple days after that, I had another interview at the NY office. This second one focused on my past experience and my classes, and how I could use what I learned in the job. It was pretty short, only about 20 minutes. I heard back about a job offer a week later and started the next month. It all happened really fast, was pretty easy, and straightforward.
- What relevant internship experience do you have?
- How can you apply your academic knowledge to this role?
- Can you describe your previous work experience?
Experiential Position
This was hands down the most disorganized and lengthy interview process I've ever been through. It was 2+ months with multiple miscommunications and confusing emails from their recruiters, including one instance where 30 minutes after a rescheduled call with one recruiter (she completely forgot about the initial interview call), another recruiter called me to interview me for the same role. It seemed like the experiential team was solid, but their HR was very confused a lot of the time.
- What makes you passionate about working in events?
Intern
I applied online and shortly after HR reached out to gauge my interest in the internship. We scheduled an interview, which ended up being a 30-minute Skype call. I got a follow-up call where they explained they hire about 5-6 interns based on department needs and major/availability. They gave me the lowdown on how the internship works and details about my start date, where to go, and paperwork. Basically, standard new hire info.
- Could you share any relevant industry experience you possess?
