First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at PM Group.
Senior Mechanical Engineer
The interview process was smooth overall. I had three rounds, with two conducted by the India team and one by the Ireland team. The initial rounds with the India team were primarily technical, as was the second round with the Ireland team. A negative aspect was the HR's unresponsiveness for extended periods after each interview round; I had to push for quick scheduling. After the third round, there was no further communication, and my time felt wasted for a month. It felt like they were playing with emotions by simply stating 'Hold.' If salary was an issue, the HR should have communicated that before the first round.
- Can you discuss the details of the equipment you've handled and the challenges you faced with it?
Mechanical Engineer
It's an assessment day. You'll do group activities where your presentation and teamwork skills are assessed. Then, you'll have an interview with two people. It's a relaxed chat covering job-related stuff, questions about you and your future, and your CV.
- Describe a situation where you had to make a decision under pressure and explain your process.
Mechanical Engineer
It was a 30-minute chat, mostly common interview questions. They asked about my background and went over my CV. Since it was an internship, they specifically asked about my college courses.
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
