Product Manager
I went through a lengthy interview process with 9 calls and 6 interviews, but ultimately, I was ghosted. I really expected a more professional closing of the loop, especially since it seemed like I was a front-runner with their continued interest and follow-ups. The process did start to drag, but I figured it was due to vacations around the end of summer. However, my follow-up attempts were met with excuses about scheduling conflicts and decision-makers being out. A simple rejection email would have been better. It was kind of funny how everyone I spoke with mentioned the company motto, 'Own your 'bleep'', yet no one seemed to own the rejection process itself.
