First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Plural Strategy.
Intern
This was a 3-round process. First two interviews were on the phone, and the final one was in person with a consultant. They had a motivational part, an Excel test, a market sizing question, and a case study. It wasn't too hard; the interviewers were nice and helped me out.
- Why are you interested in a plural role?
- Why are you interested in strategy?
Intern
We did a market sizing round first, then a case study round. Both rounds included standard fit questions like 'why consulting' and 'why Plural'. The case study was about the media industry. They gave us good feedback after each round.
- Can you estimate the UK automobile market size?
- Why are you interested in consulting?
- Why are you interested in Plural?
Intern
Submitted CV/CL, then took a 15-minute numerical reasoning test. Following that, there were questions about consulting and my interest in companies (business acumen related). I networked a bit and secured a first round, which was a straightforward market sizing drill (UK car market). The second round involved a standard case study about improving live events. The final round was a behavioral interview with the COO. They provide feedback after each interview. It seems I didn't receive an offer because my responses to 'why consulting' and 'why Plural' weren't strong enough. It's important to emphasize interest in live event and planning consulting as those are their primary client areas.
