Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Plural Strategy.
Associate
I had a screening test that involved numerical reasoning, mostly calculations based on graphs. They gave me a practice test beforehand, which was helpful to prepare for the kind of questions I'd encounter. There were 18 questions, and I had 30 minutes to complete them.
- Using the provided graph, what percentage of customers fall into category x?
Associate
After dropping the resume, there was a test and then 2 rounds of interviews. The test was a numerical reasoning one with 12 questions and you had 18 minutes to complete it. They have a hide book online to prepare which was quite comprehensive.
- A numerical reasoning test was administered online.
Summer Associate
So I applied and did a numerical test, then got asked to do a phone interview. They asked me about the difference between strategic and implementation consulting, and about the most out-of-box thing I'd done in my last internship. After that, I had a case interview in London, but unfortunately, I didn't make it past that stage. I did get some good feedback from both parts though.
- What's the most unconventional thing you've accomplished during your previous internship?
- Can you explain your specific motivations for wanting to join Plural?
