First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Plum Market.
Cashier
Super easy! They want to see that you have good management and communication skills. I thought communication was the most important part, as it helped to avoid burnout and made the job enjoyable. The team was great and always willing to help out when someone needed it.
- What makes you want to be employed at this company?
Cashier
The interview process has 3 stages. First, you'll chat with the Assistant Store Manager. They'll give you the whole story of Plum and make it sound like the best company ever. If they like you, you'll meet the Store Manager. He's a bit quieter. If he's good with you, you'll then interview with the department's Team Leader.
- Tell me about how important quality, healthy food is to you.
Cashier
The interview was held at Plum Cafe. It felt a bit too public, but the generally chill, relaxed atmosphere was actually a relief. The interviewer(s) were professional but also friendly and treated me with respect, in a polite way.
- What do you consider important for this job, and what unique value do you offer our company?
