The recruiter gave me a call to discuss the company and ask some initial questions, including why I thought I'd be a good fit. After that, they mentioned someone else would reach out for a follow-up Zoom interview. About a week later, I had a 30-minute chat with an employee there.

Behavioral Technical

I had a Teams interview first. It was good and the interviewer was nice and cheerful. This made me look forward to another interview. The next interview was at the office. It was a bit hard to find, located downtown near Lacledes Landing. The interviewer there was also cheerful and put me at ease. I got to ask my questions and they were answered. The only downside is that I was supposed to hear back the next day but didn't. After a few days with no word, I emailed the recruiter and was told they went with someone else. If I hadn't followed up, I would've been ghosted. This makes me rate the experience neutrally.

Behavioral Technical Case

So, a sales interview usually kicks off with a brief intro, where the interviewer gives you the lowdown on the job and asks you to introduce yourself. Then, it's onto some basic logistics questions to see if you've got a handle on things like supply chains, inventory, and how deliveries work. The core of the interview typically involves scenario-based questions. They'll throw you curveballs like shipments being late, issues with suppliers, or not enough stock in the warehouse, and they're looking to gauge your problem-solving, prioritization, and communication skills. Depending on the specific sales role, they might then dive into your previous experience, how you handle stress, or if you have basic tech skills in Excel or relevant sales software. Towards the end, you'll get the usual HR questions about why you're interested in the role, your good and bad points, and what you're looking for salary-wise. And, of course, they'll leave time for you to ask your questions before wrapping things up.
