Project Manager
The interview process was straightforward and engaging, with typical questions. After the initial round, candidates were given a take-home assignment. This assignment was then discussed in the subsequent round with the prospective hiring manager. If you're qualified for the role, nothing should be overly challenging.
- What are your motivations for joining our company?
Project Manager
The interview process involved multiple rounds. First, I spoke with a Project Manager from the team, then an HR manager, followed by an interview with the project managers' leader. There was also a technical test and a polygraph. The HR part felt like they were really trying to find a catch, asking similar questions from different angles, like "where are the places where you go out of your comfort zone?" They seemed more focused on cultural fit than technical project management skills. The PM Manager, who leads a team of 8 female PMs, stated they don't allow working from home and are proud of employees working hard, including weekends and holidays. They asked "how strong do you want this job?" right after mentioning high salary expectations and long working hours with no breaks.
- What are your general thoughts on project management?
- Could you describe instances where you stepped outside your comfort zone?
- How badly do you want this job?
Project Manager
interview with the PMO, lots of questions about your experience, project processes, problems you encountered, how you dealt with them, and why you believe you're the right fit for this role.
- Could you start by telling me about yourself?
- What's motivating your job search at the moment?
- Can you describe some challenges you faced during a project and explain your approach to resolving them?
