Project Manager
The HR interview unexpectedly felt like a technical one, which made it more challenging than I thought. It wasn't super hard, but the experience wasn't great, and I left feeling down and unsure about moving forward. Honestly, I hoped they wouldn't ask me back for another round.
- Regarding your past experience, were KPIs tracked? If yes, which particular ones were prioritized?
Project Manager
They got back to me fast after I applied. In about a week, I had a couple of phone calls, and then pretty soon after, I went in for an in-person interview at the studio. The whole thing took a few hours, and I got to chat with lots of different people on the team. It was pretty detailed, but really nice. Honestly, it felt more like a long conversation than an interview. The team seemed really focused on making sure I got what they needed, the background stuff, and how the company does things. I think I ended up asking more questions than they asked me.
- I was asked a bunch of questions about processes, but it wasn't tricky. They were really keen to hear what I thought about how to solve their problems.
- Could you walk me through your process for managing projects?
- How do you typically navigate difficulties that come up during a project?
Project Manager
So after applying, I got a home assignment that I passed to move on to the next stage. They told me the reason I didn't get the job was because I lacked experience with Agie/Scrum methodologies. This was something they could have seen from my CV, so it's a shame we both wasted time on the assignment and then the interview.
- Can you elaborate on specific points mentioned in your resume?
