Behavioral Technical

First chat with a Senior TA. Very low energy, totally misaligned with the brand's dynamic image. The process seems rigid: they judge you on your ability to recite the marketing definition of the tool rather than on your past sales performance (185% of quota for me). They criticized me for a 'lack of motivation' because I proposed to handle the entire sales cycle (full-cycle) instead of relying on the company's siloed BDR/AE organization.

Behavioral Presentation Case

The interview process was pretty standard for an Account Executive role, with 3 rounds. The longest part was the mock demo presentation. I felt pretty good about it all until the final interview with a cofounder. He was really short, cold, and seemed distracted. I get that working from home can be tough, but having to pause the interview a few times and then seeing him disengaged felt like a waste of my time. The craziest part was after I finished all the interviews and sent in my references, they said my sales skills were great but thought I came off cold and couldn't sell to Americans. Since I'm from Massachusetts and have always sold to people in the US and Canada, that feedback felt really off.
