Plato's Closet Retail Associate Interview Questions
& Process

I had a phone interview and then an in-person one. In the in-person meeting, I met the store manager, got a tour of the facility, and they explained what the job would be like.

I applied in person since they didn't have an online application yet. They had me take a quiz which made me a bit unsure of what to expect. The quiz had grammar, history, fashion/brand questions, and some about Plato's Closet. A week later, I got called for a group interview. They asked me to create a collage showing my style and my idea of working at Plato's Closet. The collage was super fun! In the group interview with 7 other girls, we first filled out our availability and then picked our seats. The two owners, an assistant manager, and two team leads were there. We each presented our collages in about 60 seconds. Then, we answered questions about popular brands and standard interview questions. The interview ended with a fun task: we had 10-15 minutes to put together 3 outfits from the store. The outfits were for an 18-year-old on a date night, a sophomore boy's first day of school, and a freshman girl's first day of school. Each outfit needed exactly 6 pieces to be considered complete. I got offered the job the next evening!

The interview process was pretty easy in my opinion. The manager was really nice and really easy to get along with. I did decline because of the pay because of the fact that it wasn’t what I was looking for. Other than that, I recommend applying.
